Pierwsza z nowej serii powsta\u0142a Pina Bausch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lekka linia opisuje skulon\u0105, zamkni\u0119t\u0105, samotn\u0105 posta\u0107 szykuj\u0105c\u0105 si\u0119 do skoku, pe\u0142n\u0105 dynamiki – symbolizuje wolno\u015b\u0107 i rado\u015b\u0107 i oderwanie od ziemi. Jest w tej postaci wolno\u015b\u0107 i swoboda, i niezale\u017cno\u015b\u0107 i smutek odosobnienia. Kilka linii jest mocniejszych, agresywniejszych, pewnych, a pomi\u0119dzy wpl\u0105tuj\u0105 si\u0119 linie delikatne, ta\u0144cz\u0105ce, cienkie, filuterne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zawsze lubi\u0142am linie. Lini\u0105 da si\u0119 tyle opowiedzie\u0107. Postanowi\u0142am ograniczy\u0107 si\u0119 w tej serii wy\u0142\u0105cznie do pos\u0142ugiwania si\u0119 lini\u0105. Linia \u017cycia, serca na wewn\u0119trznej stronie d\u0142oni albo linie papilarne to te\u017c wszystko miejsca,  gdzie nasze cia\u0142o najwi\u0119cej odbiera bod\u017ac\u00f3w z zewn\u0105trz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nasze cia\u0142o wewn\u0105trz to te\u017c linie, kana\u0142y, kt\u00f3rymi p\u0142ynie krew i paj\u0119czyny nerw\u00f3w rysuj\u0105 wewn\u0105trz nas \u015bcie\u017cki goni\u0105c z sygna\u0142em wzd\u0142u\u017c trakt\u00f3w ku odbiornikom, ku sercu, do m\u00f3zgu. Kiedy 16 lat temu robi\u0142am dyplom z linorytu zaj\u0119\u0142am si\u0119 tematem r\u0105k. Motywem prac by\u0142y r\u0119ce, d\u0142onie. My\u015bl\u0119, \u017ce wci\u0105\u017c zajmuje mnie to samo – m\u00f3j odbi\u00f3r \u015bwiata. Jak go czuj\u0119, jak prze\u017cywam, jak bardzo moje odczuwanie \u015bwiata jest zwi\u0105zane z moj\u0105 fizjologi\u0105. Moje cia\u0142o \u2013 to m\u00f3j przeka\u017anik, dzi\u0119ki niemu tak, a nie inaczej odbieram bod\u017ace z zewn\u0105trz. Potrzebuj\u0119 dotyku by rozumie\u0107 \u015bwiat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intryguje mnie czy te wybrane przeze mnie kobiety podobnie odczuwa\u0142y? Czym dla nich by\u0142o cia\u0142o i dotyk? Czy tak bardzo jak ja chcia\u0142y dotyka\u0107 \u015bwiata? Poprzez swoj\u0105 zmys\u0142owo\u015b\u0107, emocjonalno\u015b\u0107 i duchowo\u015b\u0107 sta\u0142y mi si\u0119 bliskie. Kiedy patrz\u0119 na to, co robi\u0142y albo czytam o ich \u017cyciu osobistym, poznaj\u0119 je i ich odczuwanie, odbieranie bod\u017ac\u00f3w z otaczaj\u0105cego \u015bwiata. Patrz\u0119 ich oczami, czuj\u0119<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ich cia\u0142ami. A grafiki, kt\u00f3re o nich robi\u0119 s\u0105 o tym, co jest mi\u0119dzy nami. To obraz ich oddzia\u0142ywania na mnie. To ich aura, ich \u201efenomen\u201c, ich energia. Wierz\u0119, \u017ce w dobrym dziele pozostaje cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 tw\u00f3rcy, jaka\u015b mikroskopijna \u017cywa cz\u0105stka ofiarowana \u015bwiatu. Jaka\u015b energia, kt\u00f3ra bije od dzie\u0142a dla innych. Tw\u00f3rczo\u015b\u0107 nie umiera w momencie wykonania dzie\u0142a, ona dopiero wtedy zaczyna \u017cy\u0107[…].<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interesuje mnie w\u0142a\u015bnie ten pierwiastek niewidoczny ofiarowany szczerze \u015bwiatu przez tw\u00f3rczynie. Ten pierwiastek, ta energia jest ukryta wsz\u0119dzie w tekstach Woolf, Plath, Dickinson, w ta\u0144cu Piny, w obrazach Fridy. Te dzie\u0142a emanuj\u0105 energi\u0105 tych kobiet. Kiedy je czytam czuj\u0119 znacznie wi\u0119cej ni\u017c jest           w tek\u015bcie, czuj\u0119 ich \u017cycie, ich osobiste cierpienie. Dlatego bardzo wa\u017cne dla mnie by\u0142o czytanie ich biografii, list\u00f3w, dziennik\u00f3w. To najwi\u0119cej m\u00f3wi o ich odczuwaniu \u015bwiata i o tym jak \u015bwiat na nie oddzia\u0142ywa\u0142. Interesuje mnie te\u017c swoisty \u201efenomen\u201c ka\u017cdej z tych kobiet. Tak te\u017c traktuj\u0119 moj\u0105 prac\u0119 artystyczn\u0105 o nich. Nie kontekst ani wiedza jest potrzebna by zbada\u0107 dane zjawisko lecz zmys\u0142y. Tak  ja odbieram tw\u00f3rczo\u015b\u0107 tych kobiet i tak\u017ce chcia\u0142abym aby moje prace graficzne tak by\u0142y odbierane. To nie portrety, to nie opisy, to przedstawienie zjawiska takim jakim jest. A wi\u0119c ja odbieram ich tw\u00f3rczo\u015b\u0107 zmys\u0142owo         i odczuwam prawd\u0119 p\u0142yn\u0105c\u0105 z ich dzie\u0142, nie poprzez tre\u015b\u0107 ale energi\u0119 w nich zawart\u0105. (…) Once I asked myself, what it really is, that to make drawings and lino cuts brings me so much joy? Also, how could I, in the most sincere way, tell others about the chosen by me, fascinating women?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first of the newest print series was Pina Bausch.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The light line describes a curled up, closed, lone figure preparing for a jump, full of dynamics, symbolizing freedom and joy, and separation from Earth. The figure incorporates freedom and deliverance, independence but sadness of isolation. Some lines are stronger, more aggressive and firm, entangled with delicate, thin, dancing and playful lines.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have always liked lines. One can tell so much through line. In this series of prints I decided to limit myself just to lines. The Life Line, Heart Line at our palms or fingerprint lines are the places where our body receives many external stimuli. Our inner body also consists of lines, channels e.g. transporting blood, and webs of nerves which draw paths delivering the signals to such receivers as  heart and brain.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

16 years ago, when elaborating my M.F.A. Diploma in lino-cut \u2013 the chosen topic was  \u201cHands\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I guess, I\u2019m still interested in the same matter \u2013  receiving a world. It\u2019s all about how I feel the world, how I experience it , to what extend this experience is related to physiology. My body is my transmitter, thanks to my body I receive external stimuli.  I need touching to understand the world. I am curious whether these women, chosen by me, were having similar sensations? How did they sense their bodies and touch? If they wanted to \u201ctouch the world\u201d as much as I did? They became very close to me because of their sensuality, emotions, spirituality. Looking at their personal lives and the things they were doing I am getting to know them, learning their way of receiving , feeling. I see with their eyes, feel with their bodies and the graphic prints which are related to them are revealing what is between us. This is the physical image of their influence on me. This is their \u201caura\u201d, their \u201cphenomenon\u201d, their \u201cenergy\u201d. I do believe that a good piece of art preserves a particle of its author, some microscopic living particle offered to the world. The energy radiating from the piece towards others.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creation does not die with a finished piece, it is then beginning to live. This is what really interests me – the invisible particle sincerely offered by these women to the world. This particle, this energy is hidden in every text of Woolf, Plath, Dickinson, in the dance of Pina  and pictures of Frida. Their art radiates their energy. When I read their texts I receive more than is written, I am feeling their lives, their pain.  This is why reading their biographies, letters, diaries  was so important for me. It tells more about the way they sensed the world and how the world was influencing them. I am also interested in the unique \u201cphenomenon\u201d of each of the women.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is also the way I understand my artwork about them. The senses are above context and knowledge as the main tools to investigate the given phenomenon. This is how I perceive the art of these women and how I prefer my graphic works to be perceived. They are neither portraits nor descriptions, they are clear presentations of phenomenons as they are. Thus I perceive their art sensually and feel the truth coming out from it, not from its contents but from their inner energy. This energy is there consciously implanted through offering the world the very piece of themselves. This is how they serve the world, work for the world, for others, for the truth. I think, this is what links them most:  being absolutely sincere in their work  of looking for the most adequate ways to give themselves to the world, their energy, thoughts and fruits of their deep feelings, sensations, temperaments, visions, interpretations of the intimate world, unbelievable vitality, love of life and love of the world where we are placed not knowing why.
