Czy tak bardzo jak ja chcia\u0142y dotyka\u0107 \u015bwiata? Poprzez swoj\u0105 zmys\u0142owo\u015b\u0107, emocjonalno\u015b\u0107 i duchowo\u015b\u0107 sta\u0142y mi si\u0119 bliskie. Kiedy patrz\u0119 na to, co robi\u0142y albo czytam o ich \u017cyciu osobistym, poznaj\u0119 je i ich odczuwanie, odbieranie bod\u017ac\u00f3w z otaczaj\u0105cego \u015bwiata. Patrz\u0119 ich oczami, czuj\u0119<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ich cia\u0142ami. A grafiki, kt\u00f3re o nich robi\u0119 s\u0105 o tym, co jest mi\u0119dzy nami. To obraz ich oddzia\u0142ywania na mnie. To ich aura, ich \u201efenomen\u201c, ich energia. Krak\u00f3w, 2013.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">(&#8230;) Once I asked myself, what it really is, that to make drawings and lino cuts brings me so much joy? Also, how could I, in the most sincere way, tell others about the chosen by me, fascinating women?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">The first of the newest print series was Pina Bausch.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">The light line describes a curled up, closed, lone figure preparing for a jump, full of dynamics, symbolizing freedom and joy, and separation from Earth. The figure incorporates freedom and deliverance, independence but sadness of isolation. Some lines are stronger, more aggressive and firm, entangled with delicate, thin, dancing and playful lines.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">I have always liked lines. One can tell so much through line. In this series of prints I decided to limit myself just to lines. The Life Line, Heart Line at our palms or fingerprint lines are the places where our body receives many external stimuli. Our inner body also consists of lines, channels e.g. transporting blood, and webs of nerves which draw paths delivering the signals to such receivers as&nbsp; heart and brain.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">16 years ago, when elaborating my M.F.A. Diploma in lino-cut \u2013 the chosen topic was&nbsp; \u201cHands\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">I guess, I\u2019m still interested in the same matter \u2013&nbsp; receiving a world. It\u2019s all about how I feel the world, how I experience it , to what extend this experience is related to physiology. My body is my transmitter, thanks to my body I receive external stimuli.&nbsp; I need touching to understand the world. I am curious whether these women, chosen by me, were having similar sensations? How did they sense their bodies and touch? If they wanted to \u201ctouch the world\u201d as much as I did? They became very close to me because of their sensuality, emotions, spirituality. Looking at their personal lives and the things they were doing I am getting to know them, learning their way of receiving , feeling. I see with their eyes, feel with their bodies and the graphic prints which are related to them are revealing what is between us. This is the physical image of their influence on me. This is their \u201caura\u201d, their \u201cphenomenon\u201d, their \u201cenergy\u201d. I do believe that a good piece of art preserves a particle of its author, some microscopic living particle offered to the world. The energy radiating from the piece towards others.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">Creation does not die with a finished piece, it is then beginning to live. This is what really interests me &#8211; the invisible particle sincerely offered by these women to the world. This particle, this energy is hidden in every text of Woolf, Plath, Dickinson, in the dance of Pina&nbsp; and pictures of Frida. Their art radiates their energy. When I read their texts I receive more than is written, I am feeling their lives, their pain.&nbsp; This is why reading their biographies, letters, diaries&nbsp; was so important for me. It tells more about the way they sensed the world and how the world was influencing them. I am also interested in the unique \u201cphenomenon\u201d of each of the women.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #999999;\">This is also the way I understand my artwork about them. The senses are above context and knowledge as the main tools to investigate the given phenomenon. This is how I perceive the art of these women and how I prefer my graphic works to be perceived. They are neither portraits nor descriptions, they are clear presentations of phenomenons as they are. Thus I perceive their art sensually and feel the truth coming out from it, not from its contents but from their inner energy. This energy is there consciously implanted through offering the world the very piece of themselves. This is how they serve the world, work for the world, for others, for the truth. I think, this is what links them most:&nbsp; being absolutely sincere in their work&nbsp; of looking for the most adequate ways to give themselves to the world, their energy, thoughts and fruits of their deep feelings, sensations, temperaments, visions, interpretations of the intimate world, unbelievable vitality, love of life and love of the world where we are placed not knowing why.
